Red fort:

Red Fort in Delhi remindes of the Mughal emperors who ruled India. It was built by mugal emperor Shahjahan. Red fort walls covers over two kilometers were built from 1638 to 1648. The 5000 artisans worked to construct Jama Masjid from 1644 to 1648. There are two minarets of 40m height four angle towers and  three great gateways.

Qutub Minar:

The Qutub Minar with height of 72.5 meters and located in Delhi is the world’s tallest brick minaret. Delhi’s first Muslim ruler, Qutb-ud-din Aibak in 1193 started the construction of Qutub Minar but it was completed by his successor and son-in-law Shamsu’d-din Iltutmish. Lotus Temple is located in the southern part of Delhi and is popular because of its flower-like shape. It was Designed by Iranian-Canadian architect Fariburz Sahba in 1986. The shape of temple wins the heart of many architech too. October to March is the best time to visit Lotus Temple.

Akshardham Temple:

Akshardham temple is famous for its piety and spirituality and is one of the most important religious sites in Delhi which was built by carving 6000 tons of pink sand stone. It has 234 pillars, 9 domes and 20 quadrangled shikhars-all and is also known for its architectural magnificence among the most important Delhi Monuments.
