Weymouth Beach is a popular place for sea bathing, ideal for swimming and for other activities offering during summer from donkey rides to punch and Judy shows. Weymouth’s fine Georgian seafront is an impressive curving arc of golden sand. The views from the bay are spectacular, stretching across the horizon taking in the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline. Rhossili Bay

Rhossili Bay is the 3rd best beach in Europe and 9th best in the world. Rhossili has also been crowned as the supermodel of British beaches’. The Rhossili beach is around three miles (5 km) long and its curves along an arc running northwards from the Rhossili village. If the Rhossili tide is out, it’s easy for the adventures to cross the rocky causeway to the tidal island of Worms Head, where grey seals can be seen lazing on the rocks below.

St. Brelade’s Bay Beach

St Brelade’s Bay is Jersey’s busiest resort beach with its tiny jetty and set in a beautiful location with seaside parish church at the western end. There is best facility of toilet, wathing safety, water and beach sports and refreshments along the length of bay with access to the beach without crossing the roads.

Porthminster Beach

Porthminster Beach, located just a short walk from the centre of St Ives is his crescent of golden sand, framed by a glittering bay. Porthminster is a family favourite and award-winning Blue Flag beach. It is best for safe swimming while onshore you can simply relax in a deck chair or try your skill at the mini 18 hole golf course where you can also order up freshly made juices, great local food and smoothies. An “urban” beach at its finest – yellow sands and jade green waters is a large, clean, sheltered beach with excellent facilities, a short walk from the town centre.
